The Meuse offers an ever-changing and individual natural landscape, with green hills and forests. Travelling from the Côtes de Meuse, the Argonne, and the Montmédy area to the river valleys of the Meuse, the Ornain and the Saulx, water is everywhere, with sports and recreation parks, and lots of picturesque canals.
The Meuse really emerges as an “Active Leisure” destination, where you can combine going out on bikes, on horseback or on foot, and exploring the area’s heritage – both natural and man-made – as well as local and regional traditions, with “Balades Découvertes” (Discovery Trails).
