Enjoy yourself in the Meuse

Back

Enjoy yourself, be observant

Young people learn a lot from travelling. The Meuse issues this great invitation to the youngest among them to come and explore – for example, the teaching farms, where they can learn as they play. There the child is king, and they can have a wonderful time, learning how to understand nature better and to love the natural world.

Different places, a different magic. At the Côtes de Meuse Observatory at Viéville-sous-les-Côtes, for example, or maybe within the Lorraine Regional Natural Park, or at the Woëvre Côtes de Meuse Permanent Centre for Environmental Initiatives at Bonzée. Well-informed guides will make it even more thrilling. The little adventurers can even enjoy a donkey ride – won’t that be great?

With the animals!

Farmers want to share their enthusiasm, and can offer lots of activities for children who love the country and life on the farm.
Order the guide Bienvenue à la Campagne (Welcome to the Countryside) or contact the Chambre d’Agriculture de la Meuse (Meuse Chamber of Agriculture).

Play at getting lost!

The giant Maize Maze at Bras-sur-Meuse, covering nearly 4 hectares, is a fun place where young and old alike can play at getting lost: left, right, dead end! Throughout the course, walkers get involved in activities (games, puzzles etc).

4 themed routes: the Soldier’s Route, the Gourmet Routes, Lorraine Tales and Legends, and the Elves’ Walk (for children).
