Côtes de la Meuse - Woëvre

Pleasant orchards where the Mirabelle plum, the famous Lorraine “golden fruit”, flourishes wonderfully well; vineyards in their prime – the Côtes de Meuse is a generous land.

The Woëvre, land of water

The Natural Regional Park of Lorraine extends over a large area there, bringing happiness to water birds as well as others, whether migratory or not. The Woëvre takes it name from the “vouivre”, a magic water snake. The charm still holds at the Madine Lake, the lakes at Lachaussée, and the Colvert Sports and Recreation Park.
