Presentation :

The ANCIEN PRESBYTÈRE, dating back to the 19th-century and entirely restored by Michèle and Gérard LARGUIER, is situated in Bonnet, 40 km from Bar-le-Duc and 5 km from the Auberge du Père Louis at Houdelaincourt. The walls, decorated with 40 years of creativity, add to the authenticity of the place. The guest rooms are very elegantly decorated.

Activities :

On the premises, visit the studio of artist Gérard Larguier who was the President of the Bateau Lavoir in Paris during the 60s. Courses on history of art and introduction to painting. Choice of cultural and countryside tourism: rambling trails, forests surrounding Gondrecourt-le-Château; Bar-le-Duc, Renaissance town; Vaucouleurs, Joan of Arc country; Saint-Mihiel and the works of sculptor Ligier Richier (16th century)... Not to mention the charming village of Bonnet with its two châteaux, its 14th-century church, and its wash houses...

Specialties :

An “inspirational” meal at the table of the old Presbytery, where all the produce is seasonal and originates from the farm: broad-bean soup, terrines, roast pork and its olive purée, garlic chicken and its polenta... A “tout truffe” (truffles throughout) meal at the Auberge du Père Louis.
