Presentation :

In the heart of the Lorraine Natural Regional Park, 45 mins by road from Metz and Nancy, and 55 mins from Paris by the TGV Est fast train, the Domaine de Pomone at Woinville, an ancient dwelling from the end of the 18th century, is an ideal spot to appreciate the tranquillity of Mirabelle Country. Stay in a bed and breakfast classified as “Charmance 3 épis” with private bathroom and toilet. The magnificent park of the estate has a curious attraction listed as an Historical Monument: a menhir standing stone, surrounded by ancient box trees.

Activities :

Learn how to play golf, or improve your swing, in the pleasant golf course at Madine Lake, 10 minutes away by road. Enjoy the watersports in season, at the sports and recreation park. Walk around the “Discovery Trail” circuit, through mirabelle plum orchards or around the lake. Explore the American Memorial at Montsec, which dominates the Woëvre plain and commemorates the American involvement in the Great War. Visit Hattonchâtel and its mediaeval village. At Saint-Mihiel, admire the Benedictine Library and the works of Renaissance sculptor Ligier Richier. Discover the production of wines and mirabelle liqueur in the Côtes de Meuse.
